QUESTION: What kind of wedding is best?
That’s a ridiculous question.
FALSE. The Walstad wedding.
Well that’s debatable, there are basically two schools of thought.
FACT: Kyle loves Claire.
*eyeroll*
Claire. Kyle. CRAZY IN LOVE.
(here’s to hoping everyone reading likes the Office…)
You guys, I wish you could have felt the love that surrounded these two on their big day, not only between each other, but between their families and friends. The entire day just overflowed with love for these two. Can we also take a second to appreciate how much personality went into this wedding? From the Polar Pops to the NCAA chairs to the Ritter’s Frozen Custard cart, this wedding was truly Kyle + Claire through and through. The Empty Vase also did an absolutely phenomenal job bringing Claire’s vision to life with their gorgeous blooms + reception design.
If there is one piece of advice I hope all brides take with them from this wedding, it’s to not forget to have fun! Flaunt those blooper moments, make silly faces, grab your Polar Pops, and let’s GOOOO!
From Claire, “Hiring Hannah and her team with Design the Day was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. As someone who has worked in the event planning and hospitality industry for years, I felt confident I could plan and coordinate most of the logistics on my own and initially didn’t feel hiring a professional would be necessary. It wasn’t until the final months and weeks of planning that I realized we wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy our wedding weekend if vendors were relying on me, my husband and our families as their primary points of contact. I really wanted to soak everything in that weekend and I wanted my family and husband to do the same.
Enter Hannah! After our first consultation, Hannah stepped in to manage all vendor communication. She built a relationship with each vendor, thoroughly reviewed and confirmed details that we had previously planned, and on our wedding weekend worked with all of them seamlessly to execute our vision. I can’t explain the sense of relief I felt when I passed things off to her – knowing everything would get executed just as planned. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, I hope this sways your decision making. So much work goes into planning a wedding and you deserve to enjoy it! Hannah and her team brought our vision to life and we can’t thank them enough.”
